BIOGRAPHY
Vanessa Francois is an associate attorney with Marsh Atkinson & Brantley. She focuses her practice on defending clients against a diverse range of claims related to catastrophic injury and wrongful death, real property, premises liability, and products liability.
Vanessa prides herself on being a personable problem-solver who develops practical and creative solutions. She is a zealous advocate who utilizes a variety of litigation tools and skills to reach successful resolutions for her clients.
Vanessa earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. While in law school, she served as a Senior Editor of the Southern Journal of Policy and Justice. Prior, Vanessa received her M.S. degree from the University of Central Florida and her B.A. from the University of Florida.
Outside of work, Vanessa maintains a strong commitment to community involvement and mental health awareness. In addition to being an active member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), she serves on the State Bar of Georgia’s Lawyers Assistance Program committee. She volunteers with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and regularly serves in the New Members Ministry at Word of Faith.
Vanessa also enjoys playdates at dog parks in the Atlanta area with her Shorkie, Francesca “Fancy”.
