BIOGRAPHY
Rachel W. Mathews defends clients in a wide range of litigation with a focus on products and premises liability. She has represented product manufacturers, retailers, and insurance companies in both state and federal courts in claims involving soft tissue injury to catastrophic and wrongful death. In addition to obtaining defense verdicts on behalf of clients at trial, Rachel has successfully briefed issues before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia.
Prior to entering private practice, Rachel worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Ozerden of the Southern District of Mississippi and a staff attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where she assisted in the disposition of criminal and civil appeals.
